First of all, I am a husband, father and grandfather. I have 5 children (1 adopted) and 8 grandchildren.

I am a Chartered Electrical Engineer with over 40 years of experience. I have been self-employed for 25 years, so I am a Director of my own business. Being self-employed means you have to be confident about your abilities and confident in the product I am selling. In my case, the product is my skills as a designer. As a Director I may not have a boss but that does not mean that I have no one that I am accountable to. Ultimately, if I don’t do my job well, I won’t be paid, or my clients will leave me. That is a great motivation to do well because I am married with dependents. I have 5 children, the oldest is 40 and the youngest is 16.

I have been a Christian for 45 years and went to Bible College in 2008. I have been in church leadership for many years, including being a pastor of a church in Cumbria, UK. I preach at my local church and I’m a guest preacher at other churches. If you want me to come to your church to preach the Good News then please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Having been diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer, everything is now viewed in a different light. There is now an urgency to ensure that people hear the Word of God, or at least get the opportunity to hear it. So far, I have been writing every week on the Old Testament prophet, Isaiah, concentrating on Isa 53, but I have also covered subjects such as repentance, evangelism, the Holy Spirit, Pentecost, pornography, and masturbation. All my posts/ notes are messages from the Bible. I hope that you will see that I am passionate about Jesus Christ and reaching out to others with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Thank you very much brother. Your contrast between God's command and ehat Eve thought of the fruit was an encouragement I needed today. I was presented with a temptation and becaue of God's Word I was able to change my mind.

These are definitely words for right here for right now. God's Word
